Karate Association of Darbhanga(KAD) is a strong full affiliated member of State Karate Association of Bihar(SKAB).

State Karate Association of Bihar is only recognized by Bihar Olympic Association & Affiliated member of Karate  India Organisation (KIO) is the only National Federation for Karate Sports in India duly Affiliated with World Karate Federation (WKF) & Asian Karate Federation (AKF), Commonwealth Karate Federation (CKF) and South Asian Karate Do Federation (SAKF).

KAD aim and objectives of only to promote the tremendous art of Karate Sports in all over Darbhanga District at Schools, Collages, University and Corporate level not only as a Martial Art of Self Defence but also as a Sports. Karate Sports is now a medal event in Olympic, School Games, University Games, National Games, SAF Games , Asian Games, World Games, Youth Olympic and Karate duly recognized by International Olympic Committee and Olympic Council of Asia.

KAD is fully involved in developing and popularising Karate Sports in Darbhanga . The membership is open for all technically qualified people/clubs/organisations who agreed to abide by the rules and regulations of KAD by following SKAB , KIO & WKF rules unconditionally.

KAD is headed by Mr. Santosh Kumar Mahto as  President & Mr.  Mukesh K Mishra as General Secretary.
